Myopia is a common eye condition that results in blurred or reduced distance vision. It is usually caused by the eye growing too large, which prevents light from focusing correctly on the retina.
Currently, it affects about 30% of the population in the UK, but is increasing rapidly due to our changing lifestyles and increasing interaction / reliance on computers and digital devices.
